He was super friendly, wrapped all of our fragile things, he was quick, and did some extra steps for me to make the day easier for me! I'm hoping every time I move I can specifically get Andre again! Jun-Sep the schedule has slack and same-day jobs go through. Snowbird months (Oct-Apr) need 48-72 hours; we keep one on-call slot daily for the scramble.

What goes into the binding quote?
Inventory (room count + oversized items), access at both ends (elevator/stairs/parking distance), specialty items (piano, safe, art), and add-ons (packing, storage, debris haul). We email you a binding flat-rate quote within two business hours. No fuel surcharge, no stair fee, no surprise rebill at delivery.
How early should I lock the date?
Off-season (Jun-Sep): 3-5 days is comfortable, same-day possible Tue/Wed. Snowbird season (Oct-Apr): 3-6 weeks for high-rise Aventura/Sunny Isles moves, 2-3 weeks for single-family. End-of-month is always tighter than mid-month.
Are packing supplies included?
Pad-wrap blankets, shrink wrap, and door-frame protection: yes, included. Boxes themselves: extra (about $1-3 each depending on size). Wardrobe boxes, dish kits, mirror crates priced separately on the quote. Full-pack service runs about $300-700 add-on for a 2-3BR.
Claims process if something is damaged?
Carrier carries $1M cargo coverage by default. Standard released-value liability is 60 cents per pound (FMCSA standard). Full-Value Protection upgrade typically $30-80 at quote time, covers full replacement cost. File the claim with photos within 30 days; Rafael follows up on stalled claims personally.
Can I see your license before booking?
Yes. Aventura Moving carries a current FL IM# (intrastate) and USDOT/MC (interstate). The license PDF and proof-of-insurance are attached to every quote email — ask once and you receive both before booking.
Saturday and Sunday availability?
Saturday is peak demand in Miami-Dade; book 2-3 weeks ahead for premium dates (end-of-month, snowbird-season). Sunday crews available, limited to 1-2 trucks per day. Weekend rates match weekday on the flat-rate; some Aventura/Sunny Isles HOAs do not allow Sunday moves at all.
What if I need to reschedule?
Free reschedule up to 48 hours before move date if there is open capacity on the alternate. Within 48 hours we still try, but the deposit may go toward the original held crew time if alternate is not available. Hurricane-watch reschedules are no-charge regardless of timing.
Furniture disassembly and reassembly included?
Bed frames, dining tables, desks, modular sectionals, IKEA-style cabinetry: yes, included. Our crew brings hex keys, drills, and small parts trays. Wall units, Murphy beds, swing-set assembly, ping-pong tables: separate line item on the quote — typically $80-200 depending on complexity.
Typical move duration by home size?
Studio: 2-3 hours. 1BR apartment: 3-4 hours. 2BR condo: 4-6 hours. 3BR house: 6-8 hours. 4-5BR estate: 8-12 hours (often two days). High-rise loads with restricted elevator windows add 1-2 hours regardless of size. The quote contains a tighter estimate based on your specific inventory.
Weather contingency in Miami?
Summer afternoon thunderstorms: move continues, crew shrinkwraps furniture, lift gate keeps loading dry. Hurricane watch: reschedule no-charge, deposit holds. Tropical Storm warning: most jobs canceled and pushed 1-2 days. June-October is hurricane season; we monitor NOAA and reach out proactively when storms form.
