Free flat-rate quote — what we actually need to give you a real number
Hourly "estimates" are how brokers and shady carriers turn a $1,200 move into a $3,400 invoice. We don’t do that. We quote flat — written, binding, line-item — based on inventory + access + add-ons. To do that accurately, we need a few specifics.
What we look at
- Inventory. Room-by-room count for furniture, boxes, and oversized items. We can do this on a video walk-through if an in-person visit is hard.
- Access at both ends. Stairs, elevators (passenger vs freight), parking distance to the entrance, COI requirements, time-window restrictions.
- Specialty items. Piano, gun safe, marble or stone tops, fine art, hot tub — these need crew and equipment we plan around in advance.
- Add-ons. Packing service, unpacking, storage between dates, debris haul-away — each priced separately so you see what you’re paying for.
Why we don’t quote "blind"
A real flat-rate quote means we’re holding the price even if your inventory takes 9 hours instead of the 6 we planned. That’s only possible if the inventory + access info we have at quote time is honest. Quotes generated from a 30-second form with no follow-up are not quotes — they’re broker leads being sold to the highest bidder. We do the work to give you a number we can stand behind.
