Moving from Miami, FL to Atlanta, GA
Miami to Atlanta is one of our 3-4 monthly long-distance runs. The drive is 660 miles on I-75 north — about 10 hours of road time, typically next-day delivery with our same-truck, same-crew model. We handle around 40 Atlanta moves a year for snowbirds heading home, retirees moving inland, and corporate relocations between the two metro economies.
What the route looks like
- Day 1, AM: crew arrives at Miami pickup, walks the inventory with you, signs the manifest, loads the truck (typically 4-8 hours depending on size)
- Day 1, PM through Day 2 AM: Joaquin Salazar or another CDL-A driver runs the route — I-75 north through Ocala, Lake City, Valdosta, Macon, into greater Atlanta
- Day 2: delivery scheduled in a confirmed window (we call you 24 hours before arrival), full unload + reassembly of furniture, walk-through, final invoice signed
